Isle of Wight County Press 13 November 1943 - NEWPORT - Town Councillor's Bereavement. - The death occurred on Saturday at the Maycroft Nursing Home, Shanklin, of Mrs. Ada Emily Jenkins, wife of Mr. P. G. Jenkins, T.C., of Cranleigh, Cypress-road. Her death was quite unexpected and the greatest sympathy is felt with Mr. Jenkins and his daughter. The funeral was on Wednesday, the first part of the service being conducted in the Congregational Church by the Rev. T. E. R. Langridge.
