IWCP - 6 September 1958 - NEWPORT - The Late Miss E. A. Cartwright. - The death occurred on Wednesday week at Arundel House, Ventnor, of Miss Elizabeth Annie Cartwright, aged 93. A dressmaker, she spent most of her life in Pyle Street. The funeral at St. Thomas's Church was conducted by the Vicar (the Rev. A. P. Lumley). The interment was at Newport Cemetery. The mourners were Mr. H. Rann (nephew), Mrs. E. Howell and Mrs. K. Rann (nieces), and Mr. R. Rann (nephew). The arrangements were made by Messrs. Hamilton and Son.
