IWCP - 21 November 1914 - RYDE - THE FUNERAL - of Mr. Robey Gordon Way, who died at his residence, Nelson-place, on Saturday last, took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on Tuesday. Deceased had for very many years been a resident in the town. The remains, enclosed in a massive fumed-oak coffin, were interred in the family grave, the service being taken by the Vicar (the Rev. T. S. Busher). The inscription enhraved on the plate was: "Robey Gordon Way, died 14th November, 1914, aged 81 years." Messrs. Hansfords, of Ryde, were the undertakers.
