Isle of Wight County Press - 19 March 1887 - NEWPORT - SUDDEN DEATH OF A LOCAL PREACHER. - Mr. Thomas Goodman, living on the South Mall, died suddenly on Thursday last. The deceased, who was in his 70th year, had been suffering from bronchitis. He was a Baptist preacher, and very much respected.
