Isle of Wight County Press - 20 May 1916 - NEWPORT - FORESTER'S FUNERAL. - The funeral of Mr. John Edmunds, aged 58, for many years employed in the stores of Messrs. J. Thomas and Co. Ltd., and a member of the local Court of Foresters, who died at his residence, Victoria-road, on Saturday, took place at the Cemetery on Thursday, the Rev. Miles Atkinson (vicar of St. Paul's) officiating in the presence of Foresters, fellow workman, &c.
