IWCP – 19 July 1947 – NEWPORT – Obituary. – Mrs. Frances Amelia Watson, aged 70, died at her home, 11 Green Street, Barton’s Village on Monday. She was a member of the P.T.E. Sisterhood and of the St. Paul’s Church Mothers’ Union, and had been married 53 years. Sympathy is felt with her husband (Mr. C. Watson) and the family in their loss. The Rev. L. J. D. Wheatley conducted the funeral service in St. Paul’s Church yesterday (Friday), and the interment followed in the cemetery.
