IWCP - 23 February 1946 - NEWPORT - Awarded the B.E.M. - Sergt. R. W. A. Clark, a former member of the 219th (I.W.) Heavy A.A. Battery, R.A.(T.A.), who resides with his wife and two sons at 60 Victoria-road, has been awarded the British Empire Medal (Military) for meritorious service in the London flying bomb area. Sergt. Clark's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Clark, live at 89 Adelaide-grove, East Cowes. He was recently demobilised and has returned to the employ of Messrs. Pickfords.
