Hampshire Advertiser - 15 April 1899 - Lymington - The death is announced at Newport of Mr. Edward Thorn, son of the late Mr. Henry Thorn of Stud-farm, for many years one of the principal clerks at the L. and S.W.R. time-table office at Waterloo. He was 49 years of age.
