IWCP – 22 December 1900 – Newport - DEATH OF MR. GEORGE COOPER. – We regret to record the death of Mr. George Cooper, which took place at his residence, Elm-grove, on Tuesday last, at the age of 76. As a builder and stone-mason the deceased processed great practical skill, and he was known in connection with his work in most parts of the Island. By his genial qualities he won the regard of all who knew him, and his cheery presence will be much missed.
