IWCP - 1 August 1903 - Newport - FORRESTER'S FUNERAL. - On Saturday afternoon the remains of Bro. George Gray, of Hunnyhill, were interred in Carisbrooke Cemetery, several members of the local Court of Foresters, of which deceased was a prominent figure, attending. He was also a past pastor of the Ancient Order of Shepherds. In the absence of the chief ranger (Bro. F. Midlane), the service of the Order was read at the graveside by Bro. C. Eldridge. The bearers were Bros. R. Mytton, P.C.R., G. Jones, P.C.R., F. Guy, and H. Poynter. The Rev. G. Avery officiated.
