IWCP - 9 April 1904 - Newport - MUCH SYMPATHY - is felt with Mr. W. H. Wood, chief clerk at the central Post-office, in the death, which took place with painful suddenness, during Monday night, of his wife, at the age of 46. The late Mrs. Wood had been slightly unwell, but felt better on Monday. Death was due to hemorrhage of the brain. The funeral took place yesterday in the presence of many relatives and friends.
