IWCP - 3 December 1904 - CARISBROOKE - SCHOOLBOY'S FUNERAL. - The funeral took place on Thursday afternoon at Carisbrooke Cemetery of Oliver Cox, the 12-year-old son of Mr. G. Cox, of Clatterford, who died on the previous Saturday. Among the wreaths sent was one from the teachers and scholars of Carisbrooke Council-schools and one from the Bowcombe Bible Christian Sunday-school, both of which the deceased attended.
