Illustrated London News - 26 November 1898 - At the Northampton Assizes on Friday, Frederick Tomlinson, a workman of a shoe factory, was found guilty of several malignant attempts to wreak railway trains. Mr. Justice Mathew sentenced him to penal servitude for life.
