IWCP - 29 April 1911 - CARISBROOKE - DEATH OF MR. HENRY RUSSELL. - A respected inhabitant of Carisbrooke passed away on Sunday in the person of Mr. Henry Russell, carpenter, wheelwright, and timber merchant of Plaish, in his 82nd year. He had served on the Carisbrooke Parish Council. The funeral took place on Wednesday at Carisbrooke Cemetery, the Rev. W. J. Stobart officiating. Those present, in addition to the family mourners, included Messrs. W. Morris (Plaish), W. Simmonds, and F. T. Long. Messrs. H. and F. Damp carried out the funeral arrangements.
