Isle of Wight County Press - 18 October 1913 - NEWPORT - THE FUNERAL - took place on Thursday, at Carisbrooke Cemetery, of John Woolgar, aged 73, of Orchard-street, one of the oldest members of the Earl Yarborough Lodge of Oddfellows, No. 20 on the roll, who was well known as a waiter in different parts of the Island and as a shoemaker. The bearers were members of the Lodge, which was represented among the mourners by Bros. H. Prouten, P.P.G.M., E. J. Wilton, P.G., A. J. Parkinson, P.G., and G. H. Dunford, P.G., and Prov. C.S. J. B. Alderslade was also present.
