IWCP – 31 October 1914 – Newport – THE FUNERAL took place on Thursday, at Carisbrooke Cemetery, of Rosina, the 14-year-old daughter and eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Burnett, of 5 Catherine-terrace, Hunnyhill, who succumbed to septic poisoning. The first part of the service was held at the Hunnyhill Wesleyan Chapel, of which deceased was a much respected member, and the girls of her class attended. The Rev. B. Carvosso Spencer officiated. There were over 20 beautiful floral tributes.
