IWCP - 11 November 1916 - NEWPORT - DEATH OF MISS COOPER. - We regret to announce the death of Miss Fanny H. Cooper, of 40 Elm-grove, which occurred on Oct. 26, after a brief illness. Miss Cooper, who was 68 years of age, was known and esteemed by a wide circle of friends. The funeral took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on 30th ult., the Rev. R. Sirhowy Jones (Congregational minister) officiating. The principal mourners were Mr. Frank Cooper (brother), Miss M. Cooper and Mrs. Creeth (sisters), Mrs. Frank Cooper (sister-in-law), and the Misses Hilda and Frances Williams (nieces). There were a number of floral tributes.
