IWCP - 14 April 1917 - NEWPORT - OLD VOLUNTEER'S DEATH. - On Saturday the death took place from pneumonia, at 32 Portland-terrace, of Mr. Robert Henry Way, aged 59, younger son of the late Mr. John Way. Deceased was a member of the old Volunteers and had served 12 years in the Royal Engineers. On the outbreak of war he joined the National Reserve for two years. He was for many years in business as a cabinet maker in Hearn-street. The funeral took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on Thursday, the Rev. T. Story Busher (vicar) officiating.
