IWCP - 26 October 1918 - NEWPORT - ANOTHER OLD INHABITANT-has passed away in the person of Mr. Frederick Stokes, who died on Tuesday at the residence of his son, Mr. T. Stokes, the well-known bookseller and stationer, of Nodehill. The deceased, who was much respected by all who knew him, was in his 80th year. He was formerly for many years in the Army. His aged wife survives, and for her and her son the sincerest sympathy is felt.
