IWCP - 16 November 1918 - NEWPORT - DEATH OF AN EX-RIFLEMAN. - The death took place on November 3rd at 60 Booth-terrace, Hunnyhill, from pneumonia following influenza, of Mr. John Frederick Thomas. He served in Gallipoli with the I.W. Rifles, and was discharged two years ago in consequence of injuries sustained there. The funeral took place at Carisbrooke on Saturday. The deceased was in the employment of the I.W. Central Railway Company, and his workmates were the bearers.
