Isle of Wight County Press - 14 May 1932 - CARISBROOKE - DEATH OF AN INFANT. - Much sympathy is felt with Sergt. Barlow, of the 43rd Light Infantry (Oxford and Bucks Regiment) and his wife, Mrs. Norah Barlow, in the loss they have suffered by the death of their only child, John William Barlow, aged 11 weeks, which occurred at the Cottage, Park Green Farm, Carisbrooke, yesterday (Friday) morning. The child appeared to be perfectly healthy and well until Thursday, when it was suddenly taken ill, and was attended by Nurse Snow. Later it became worse and Dr. Bruce was summoned, and on his arrival found that life was extinct.
