Hampshire Telegraph - 12 November 1859 - Isle of Wight – NEWPORT - CORONERS’ INQUEST.—An inquest was held at the House of Industry, on Saturday last, before F. Blake, Esq., on the body of one of the inmates of the idiot ward, named Sarah Waterworth, relict of the late Mr. Edward Waterworth, a stationer, of Newport, who was found dead in her bed the previous morning. Deceased had for many years carried on the profession of midwifery in the island, and had attained the age of 84, but of late became imbecile and died of disease of the heart. Verdict accordingly.
