IWCP - 28 March 1936 - CARISBROOKE - OBITUARY. - A greatly respected resident of over 30 years passed away on Saturday, in the person of Mrs. Cave, 71, of Glenfield, following a long illness, borne with characteristic fortitude. The funeral service was held at the Parish Church on Tuesday, the Rev. J. W. F. Wayet officiating. The interment was at the Cemetery. The mourners included Messrs. John, George, Bert, and Frank Cave (sons), the Misses Daisy and Ida Cave (daughters), and Mrs. and A. Meech (sister and brother-in-law), Mrs. Watkins (niece), Mr. Bruce Osborne (nephew), Mrs. J. and Mrs. B. Cave (daughters-in-law), Mr. Batt, and Miss Linington. Many friends were present in the church, and there were a large number of floral tributes.
