IWCP - 25 April 1936 - NEWPORT - SUDDEN DEATH. - The death occurred suddenly on Saturday of Mr. Fred Morey, aged 68, of 102 Hunnyhill. The deceased had been in failing health for four years and had received medical attention. When his wife left home to go shopping at 6.15 p.m. on Saturday he appeared in his normal health. An hour later he was found lying dead in the scullery by his stepdaughter, Miss Eva May Morey, who promptly summoned medical aid. The Deputy Coroner (F. A. Joyce, Esq.) decided that an inquest was unnecessary.
