IWCP - 24 June 1939 - NEWPORT - Sudden Death - The death occurred suddenly on Monday of Mrs. Georgina Lacey, aged 81, who lodged with Mrs. R. Croton, of 133 Hunnyhill. The deceased lady complained of feeling unwell on Thursday week and remained in bed until Monday, when she was medically attended. Later the same day she was found dead in bed by Mrs. Croton, when she took her tea. The Coroner deemed an inquest unnecessary.
