IWCP - 29 November 1941 - BLACKWATER - Obituary. - The death occurred on Thursday at Redhaven, at the age of 82, of Mrs. Florence Ada Jackman. The deceased, who had been in failing health for some time, was a lifelong resident of the district. She took a keen interest in the Methodist Church, acting as organist. The funeral took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on Monday, the Revs. H. J. Franklin (Newport) and A. G. Woodnutt (Ventnor) officiating. The mourners were Messrs. I. D. Nicholas (nephew), C. A. Nicholas (brother-in-law), H. Wyatt, and W. H. Upward. Mr. A. A. Westmore made the arrangements.
