IWCP - 9 August 1952 - Newport - Well-known Motor Mechanic's Death. - The death occurred during yesterday morning at 121 Medina Avenue, of Mr. Stanley A. J. Scott, aged 48, who was well known as a motor mechanic in the employ of Messrs. W. H. Margham and Sons, and previously with Messrs. Brown's Bus Service. During the war he served in the N.F.S. as company officer at Shanklin and Cowes, and later as officer in charge of the workshop at Sandown. He had been ill only three days. Much sympathy is felt with his wife and 10 year-old son.
