IWCP – 8 November 1952 – Newport – The Late Mr. F. R. Brimson. – The death occurred on Sunday at St. Mary’s Hospital, after a short illness, of Mr. Frederick Roy Brimson, aged 75, of 95 Carisbrooke Road. Mr. Brimson was born in Ventnor and came to Newport after he was married; he was well known as a decorator and contractor. The funeral took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on Wednesday, conducted by the Vicar (the Rev. D. S. McKenzie).
