IWCP - 28 August 1954 - Newport - The Late Mr. G. H. Ginger. - The death occurred at Fairlee Hospital on Friday week of Mr. George Henry Ginger, aged 54, who was for many years employed at Ralph's Nurseries at Watergate, and was formerly bellringer and organ blower at St. John's Church. The funeral took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on Monday, the Vicar of St. Paul's, Barton (the Rev. L. J. D. Wheatley) officiating. The mourners were Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Ginger (brother and Sister-in-law), Messrs. A. Ralph and A. R. Hopkins, Mrs. D. H. King, Mr. and Mrs. B. Gubbins, and Messrs. W. G. Sibbick, J.P., S. Ince, and A. A. Knight. Mr. W. W. Wells made the arrangements.
