IWCP - 18 February 1950 - Parkhurst - Prison Officer\'s Death. - The death occurred at the County Hospital on Sunday of Prison Officer Thomas Waller, of 23 Haskell Road, aged 51. Mr. Waller was a member of the Prison Service for 21 years and before coming to Parkhurst in 1945 served at Maidstone and Dartmoor Prisons. He will be greatly missed by the Parkhurst staff. The interment took place at St. John's Church, Kingsdown, Deal, on Thursday, and a floral tribute was sent by the governor and staff of Parkhurst Prison.
