IW Times - 26 January - 1871 - Deaths - WEBB. - On the 17th inst., at Newport, Mr. Edward Webb aged 86 years. He was trumpeter in the old Isle of Wight Volunteers, under Sir Leonard Holmes, and the only surviving brother of Mr. Wm. Webb, for 45 years organist at St. Thomas's Church.
