IWCP - 23 December 1916 - NEWPORT - THE FUNERAL – of Mrs. Rackett, wife of Mr. G. H. Rackett, of 25 Union-street, took place on Tuesday, the first part of the service being at the Wesleyan Church and the interment at the Cemetery, the Rev. C. F. Braithwaite officiating. The chief mourners were the husband and daughter, Mr. A. Siblty (brother) and Mrs. Sibley, Mrs. A. Bunce (niece), Miss J. G. Ham, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer, Mrs. A. C. Hutchinson, and Miss Minnie Biles. There were many floral tributes.
