IWCP - 10 January 1891 - NEWPORT - THE FUNERAL - of William Bishop, only son of Mr. E. Bishop, of Pyle-street, took place yesterday (Friday), the service being performed by the Rev. R. H. Farrant. The deceased, who was only in his 17th year, was a youth of great promise and was very much respected. The coffin was covered with beautiful floral wreaths and crosses, and amongst the followers were the members of St. Thomas's Young Men's Bible Class, which the deceased had for some time attended.
