IWCP - 17 June 1944 - NEWPORT - Nonagenarian's Death. - The death took place on Tuesday in the Home Hospital, Ryde, of Miss Jane Milligan Gubbins, aged 91, late of Hazards House, High-street. Deceased was the daughter of the late Mr. William Gubbins, printer and stationer, and was well known by her work for Dr. Barnardo's Homes. The funeral service took place yesterday (Friday) in St. Thomas's Church, Canon W. B. Hogg officiating. The arrangements were made by Messrs. H. and F. Damp. The interment was in Newport Cemetery.
