IWCP - 12 May 1923 - NEWPORT - OBITUARY.-The death occurred on Thursday week at Pyle-street, after a long and painful illness, of Mr. Henry Ashton, aged 70, a much respected townsman, who had been connected with the well-known nurserymans', seedsmans', and fruiterers' business in Pyle-street for half a century, having resided at the Westminster Nurseries for some years. The funeral took place on Tuesday at the Newport Cemetery, after a service at the Wesleyan Church.
