Portsmouth Evening News - 11 April 1891 - SHANKLIN - DEATH OF MR. J. WHEELER. - Yesterday morning Mr. James Wheeler, late of Chillerton, farmer, died at his residence in Shanklin, Glendower, after a short illness. Mr. Wheeler was in his 85th year and came to Shanklin about nine months ago. He was well known throughout the Isle of Wight, and greatly respected by all classes of the inhabitants.
