IWCP - 26 January 1907 - Newport - MUCH SYMPATHY - is felt with Mr. Percy Cheverton, of Croydon, son of Ald. R. Bird Cheverton, J.P., in the death of his wife, which took place after a short illness yesterday week. The deceased, who leaves two young children, was also a Newportonian. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon, the first part of the service being at the Parish-church and the interment at Newport Cemetery. The Vicar officiated.
