Isle of Wight County Press - 10 October 1908 - NEWPORT - OBITUARY. - An old and respected resident passed peacefully away on Thursday night in the person of Mr. John Flux, aged 83, of Kingsfield-terrace, Fairlee-road, who for 62 years was in the employ of Messrs. Alex. Sharp and Co., whose trustworthy and esteemed foreman he was from the age of 19. He had practically a life-long connection with the Unitarian Christian Church of this town.
