IWCP - 29 July 1916 - NEWPORT - THE FUNERAL - took place at St. Paul's, Barton, on Monday, of Miss Louisa Jackson, of Broadlands House, youngest daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Jackson, of Leavy Grove, Sheffield, a former valued worker at St. Paul's with her invalid sister, for whom much sympathy is felt. Her end came peacefully, after a short illness, on the previous Thursday. The Rev. Miles Atkinson (vicar) officiated at the funeral, the service at the church being choral. In addition to the relatives there were present Miss H. Williams (Broadlands House), Major and Mrs. Henry J. Way, Mrs. Nutter, Mrs. J. George, Miss Pittis, Miss Coulthard, and others. There were a number of floral tributes.
