IWCP - 28 September 1918 - NEWPORT - OBITUARY. - Much sympathy is felt with Sergt. and Mrs. W. Flux, 104 Pyle-street, in the death at the County Hospital of their youngest son, James Edward, aged 11, a promising scholar of the National School. The funeral took place on Sunday, the Rev. T. Letcher officiating, at the United Methodist Church and Newport Cemetery. The scholars of the U.M. Sunday-school attended the service. The mourners were the parents, Cadet C. W. Flux, Tank Corps, and Mr. W. Flux (brothers), three sisters, Mrs. Attrill (aunt), Miss Cooper, and Mr. H. Dore (uncle).
