IWCP – 18 September 1971 – NEWPORT – The Late Mrs. W. C. Sutton. – The funeral took place on Wednesday week of Mrs. Winifred Clare Sutton, aged 77, of 346 Fairlee Road, who died the previous Sunday. The Rev. E. R. Ayerst officiated at the service at Carisbrooke Cemetery. The mourners were Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Sutton and Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Sutton (sons and daughters-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Lithgow (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. J. Sutton (grandson), Mrs. G. Pitman and Mr. and Mrs. C. King (brother-in-law and sisters), Mr. and Mrs. R. Wheeler and Mrs. I. Harvey (nephew and nieces), and Mrs. G. Mackie. Messrs. Wyatts made the arrangements.
