IWCP - 9 December 1893 - NEWPORT - MRS. STEPHENS, - the wife of the venerable verger of St. Thomas's Church, died last Wednesday after a brief illness, literally full of years. She was very highly respected and will be much missed in connection with the church, especially by visitors, whom for many years she has been wont to conduct over the interesting and stately building. Much sympathy is felt for the aged and honoured partner.
