* Isle of Wight Observer - 20 January 1900 - NEWPORT - DIED IN HIS CHAIR. - An elderly Cabinet-maker, named Robert Fowler, living alone at a small tenement in Holyrood Street, was found dead in his chair on Tuesday night by Mr. Ernest Hayles, who forced an entrance to the house, the neighbour's being anxious as to Fowler's welfare.
