Isle of Wight County Press - 12 May 1900 NEWPORT - SUNDAY-SCHOOL SCHOLAR'S FUNERAL. On Sunday afternoon last the funeral of Ella Morris (daughter of Mr. Charles Morris), a scholar of the Bible Christian Sunday-school, took place at Newport Cemetery. There was a large attendance of deceased's fellow scholars, under the direction of Mr. C. E. Gilchrist (superintendent), at the impressive ceremony, at which the Rev. H. E. Reed officiated.
