IWCP - 8 June 1901 - Newport - THE DEATH - occurred on Tuesday last of Mrs. Sarah Reynolds, wife of Mr. Thomas Reynolds, of 25, Pyle street. The deceased, who had attained the age of 75, was one of the old Isle of Wight lace-workers, very few of whom now survive. She had great skill in the art and had enjoyed the patronage of Royalty. She was held in high respect by all who knew her. The funeral took place yesterday (Friday) at Newport Cemetery, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. Thomas Overton, superintendent Wesleyan minister.
