IWCP - 30 September 1899 - Newport - PENSIONER'S SUDDEN DEATH. - On Thursday morning, Alfred Cogger, aged 55, an Army pensioner, living at 55, Crocker-street, well known as a waiter, &c., was found dead in bed by his housekeeper, Mrs. Mills. Deceased, who appeared in his usual health the previous night, had been suffering from rheumatism recently. Drs. Waterwork and Castle were called in. An inquest was not considered necessary.
