IWCP - 2 May 1925 - NEWPORT - DEATH OF AN OLD RESIDENT. - The death occurred on the 18th ult. of Mr. James Woolgar, bootmaker, of 92 High-street, at the advanced age of 81. The deceased, who came to the Island from Brighton, started in business in Carisbrooke, and afterwards moved to the premises in Newport. For several years he was an overseer, and a member of the Earl Yarborough Lodge of Oddfellows. The funeral took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery last week, and was conducted by Mr. A. Fry. The undertaker was Mr. G. F. Quinton.
