Isle of Wight County Press - 19 October 1901 - CARISBROOKE - OBITUARY. - We regret to announce the death, which occurred on Saturday last at Charisbrooke, of Mr. Stanley J. Wavell, son of Mr. J.H. Wavell. The deceased, who was 32 years of age, had been in declining health for some time past. The funeral took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. A.H.C. Edlin officiating. In addition to a number of relatives, several members of the Beatrice Lodge of Buffaloes attended, the deceased having been a member of that Order. The lodge also sent a wreath.
