Isle of Wight County Press - 9 July 1921 - NEWPORT - THE FUNERAL - of Mrs. Jane Simmonds, aged 86, widow of Mr. Ben Simmonds, who passed away at Freshwater on Saturday, took place here, the interment being at Newport Cemetery, by the side of the grave of her husband. The mourners included Messrs. Tom, John, and James Simmonds (sons), and other relatives, and there were a number of lovely wreaths.
