Description: Pre rebuild description:-
Early C19 facade of grey headers with rubbed brick dressings applied to an earlier building. Steep pitch hipped old tile roof. Projecting red brick eaves cornice with header dentils. 3 storeys. 6 windows, recessed, sash, glazing bars only on 2nd floor, flat rubbed brick arches, block sills. Central recessed door of 6 fielded panels, panelled reveals. Doorcase of reeded Doric pilasters frieze and cornice. Edwardian shop
fronts either side take up ground floor except for one surviving window.
Interior has been modernised. The Parliamentary Commissioners lodged here during the negotiation of the Treaty of Newport.
